The predecessor of Giant Cycling Team in 2009:

China Wansheng Continental Cycling Team is the first Chinese man’s team. In the past 9 years, Giant Cycling Team has committed to create more opportunities for Chinese athletes. This spirit has attracted numerous elites in China. They have on behalf of Giant Cycling Team participated in races at home and abroad. Their efforts help Chinese riders climb a new ladder.

Team Delko Marseille Provence KTM has got an history in cycling up to 1974. 

Based on core values of development of young talents, courage, team spirit, innovation, the project has grown slowly into an international project, now in Continental Pro. 

Supported mainly by the chain store of garages Delko, KTM bike brands, the city of Marseille and the land Provence Côte d'Azur, our team is proud to participate again to Tour of Hainan 2018 (we won the 2014 edition)!

We look forward to race in Tour of Hainan to meet our Chinese fans and to win like we used to do in our Asian races, a very important part of our program.

Mitchelton-BikeExchange is a Chinese registered UCI Continental cycling team competing as one of 35 Asian teams on the UCI Continental Circuit of international races including the Asia Tour.

An important element of the team is their involvement and commitment to expanding and improving cycling in China through working with Chinese coaches and the panel of the Chinese National Road Team in selecting some of the best young Chinese racing talent in China like current national champion Niu Yikui and teammates Jiang Zhi Hui and Sun Xiaolong.

 With the goal of providing them with a world class network of support within the GreenEDGE cycling set up the team provides the riders with a platform to improve not only their racing abilities, but also language and cultural skills as they work towards the target of becoming one of the top three teams on the Asian continental circuit.

The desire to create a legacy of cycling in China and work together with the Chinese Cycling Community to aid the development of Chinese athletes to achieve Olympic qualification and set them on the path to success at also the Chinese Games and Asian Games, is tied intrinsically with the main aim of developing a world class structure of support to nurture Chinese cycling talent.

The NIPPO Vini Fantini Europa Ovini is the first Italian-Japanese pro cycling team. Born in 2015 with the aim to grow up Italian and Japanese young talents looking forward to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.  The young talents of the team are leaded by experienced and strong riders such as Damiano Cunego and Marco Canola. The team is  strongly international with management, staff and riders Italian & Japanese, riding in 4 continents and 26 countries during all the season. The team wants to promote a new cycling, based on a stron Ethic Code, with a management based on maximum transparency, very strong ethics, new professional figures and new ways of communicating. 

NINGXIA SPORTS LOTTERY LIVALL CYCLING TEAM is an intercontinental team that established quiet early in China in 2014. We won the first stage of 2018 Tour of Qinghai Lake. With an aim to cultivate outstanding professional riders, we have signed up with 16 riders from 7 countries in 2018. We will participate in 12 UCI professional races, namely, Tour of Qinghai Lake, Tour of Xingtai, Tour of China, Tour of Hainan. Hope you enjoy our performance!

2018 marks the sixth season the all-diabetes men’s professional cycling team is racing on the International Cycling Union (UCI) Professional Continental Tour, which is taking them to numerous countries around the world in Europe, USA, the Middle East and Asia as they continue

racing to change diabetes.

The 2017 season saw Team Novo Nordisk earn 15 top 10 finishes including top five results at GP de Saguenay and the Finnish National Championship Road Race. Throughout the season, Team Novo Nordisk stepped on the podium for multiple jersey honors. Neo-pro sprinter Mehdi Benhamouda (FRA) wore the best young rider jersey at the Tour d’Azerbaidjan, Stephen Clancy (IRL) received the fan favorite jersey following the opening stage of the Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah and Fabio Calabria (AUS) earned the most aggressive rider jersey on the final stage of the Colorado Classic. 

Off the bike, Team Novo Nordisk riders meet thousands of people every year who are inspired by their message and empowered by their actions at races spanning the globe. The team also engages regularly with its millions of fans on social media. 

The road to Team Novo Nordisk: two journeys, one goal

In December 2012, Novo Nordisk and Phil Southerland, co-founder and CEO of Team Novo Nordisk, partnered to create Team Novo Nordisk, based on a shared goal to inspire, educate and empower people around the world affected by diabetes.

This unique partnership is the result of two inspirational journeys:

• In 1982, at seven months old, Phil was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. His- mother was told he was unlikely to live past 25.Around the same time, Novo Nordisk - already a pioneer in the

treatment of diabetes - marketed its first insulin that was identical to human insulin.

• From an early age, Phil’s effective management of diabetes included riding his bike. At college he motivated friend and fellow cyclist with diabetes, Joe Eldridge, to improve his diabetes control in a similar way. This inspired Phil to spread diabetes awareness to a larger audience, and in 2005 he formed a cycling team that included athletes both with and without diabetes. In 2007, this team went on to win the 3,000-mile tag-team Race Across America.

• In 2005 - the same year as Phil formed the team - Novo Nordisk launched the Changing Diabetes® programme, which aims to ensure better outcomes for more patients, by creating more opportunities to live well with diabetes.

• As Phil travelled around the world, he witnessed the Novo Nordisk interest in supporting the diabetes community. This was an immediate shared goal, as was the desire to empower people with diabetes, and show that living with diabetes shouldn’t stop you from pursuing your dreams.

• Based on these shared goals, Team Novo Nordisk was created in December 2012.

Qinghai Tianyoude Cycling Team has numerous excellent riders including the champion Jonathan, best Asia rider Zhang Zhishan and new athlete Li Zisen in 2017 Tour of Qinghai Lake. In 2008 when we became the continental team that China initially registered in UCI, we have cultivated many outstanding riders with great achievements in cycling races at home and abroad.

In recent two years, our team has applied the spirit of reform to the development of cycling race. In 2017 Tour of Qinghai Lake, our rider Jonathan under the help of team members got the yellow jersey for eight consecutive stages which is the symbolic of race leader and finally won the championship. His performance represents that Chinese cycling team has made a breakthrough in the history of that race. In 2018, we have participated in some professional races and our new riders have accumulated precious experience in the meanwhile. In 2018 Tour of Qinghai Lake, our young rider Li Zisen got the blue jersey for the previous two stages which stands for the best Asia athlete. The rest of team members also left no stone unturned to win the race. We are committed to get better achievements in the future!

Our sport project was born in 2009 when Angelo Citracca, team manager of the team with the headquarters on the top of San Baronto hill, decided to bring one of the most winning Under 23 team in the category Professional. Eight long years full of joy and pain but with many emotions, same feelings that brought back in the peloton two historical italian brands, Wilier Triestina and Selle Italia, that became leaders in the world.

112 years of history for Wilier Triestina, 121 for Selle Italia, two anniversaries to don’t forget as unforgettable was our participation to the 100th edition of the Giro d’Italia with the team involved for the 8th time in these last 9 years to show the importance of a project that every year works with the young talents of italian and international cycling.

The results are getting better year after year and that’s how the team managed to win for two times in the last four years the Italian Cup achieving most victories than any other italian team in the last 48 months.

In 2018 we will face new challenges with a roster that will be leaded by two symbolic men of the italian cycling, Filippo Pozzato and Jakub Mareczko.

About Israeli Cycling Academy: 

Israel Cycling Academy was founded in December 2014 in Jerusa-lem as Israel’s  first professional cycling team, with a clear vision to help Israeli cycling and to  bring young cyclists, especially Israe-lis, to the top levels of the sport. The 2017  season was the team’s first in the Pro Continental ranks and in 2018 the team raced  in its first Grand tour-The Historic Giro D’italia-which started in Jeru-salem. Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG) was established in 2011 by Terengganu State Government and Pro-Asia Sports Management following success of local rider in 2010 Le Tour de Langkawi winning one stage and Green Points Jersey. The goal of TSG was to develop next generation of Terengganu cycling talents to compete at highest international level as well as promoting Terengganu state globally. Since team’s establishment, TSG has been the number 1 team from SE Asia for 8 years in the roll and is one of most consistent top performing teams in UCI Asia races. 

In 2012, TSG made history by becoming the number one overall ranked team in UCI Asia Tour. Over the 8 years history, TSG ranked top 5 Asian team 5 times with 79 international victories and over 200 podiums. In 2018 TSG made another monumental history by winning the overall classification in prestige Le Tour de Langkawi. 

Besides racing success in UCI Asia Tour, TSG is also one of most recognized professional sports teams in Malaysia. Large fan following not only limited to state of Terengganu but throughout entire Malaysia sporting community. Each year TSG races over 15 countries throughout Asia from Japan, Korea, China to SE Asia to Middle East and as far as Turkey.

The exciting new additions to 2018 TSG are Metkel Eyob from Eritrea former Dimension Data rider and Russia ITT champion Artem Overchkin former World Tour Team Katusha rider.

Founded in 2010, Heng Xiang Cycling Team is dedicated to Asian Tour and domestic leagues. Remarkable achievements have been made during these years. It is becoming the best Chinese cycling team in the Tour of Hainan. Liu Jianpeng, Chen Mingrun and Ma Guangtong had excellent performances in Asian Tour. In 2016, it has transformed into an international cycling team with foreign members. Heng Xiang Cycling Team hopes it will do well in this years’ tour. Team introduction Monkey Town Continental Team:

For the second time we will participate in Tour of Hainan.

Last year our best men in GC was Marco Zanotti with a 4th place overall and winning the 9th stage.

For this year we are taking a different sprinter to Hainan, André Looij will be our sprinter and we are hoping to win at least also one stage with this rider. In Europe he already won some UCI races and most recent two stages in Poyang Lake.

The other 6 riders will be important for helping our sprinter but also for G.C., our goal for this year’s race is to win a stage but also to have a top 3 ranking in G.C. Two riders from last year will participate again, these riders are Ivar Slik and Maarten de Jonge. Maarten de Jonge recently won the G.C. in Poyang Lake. The other riders of the team already won a lot of races this year global. The strength of our team is better than last year and we are looking forward for Tour of Hainan. European season will finish 13th of October and one week later will arrive in Hainan.

So our team takes Tour of Hainan serious and hope for some good results this year.

In the sportive field, we won several times the king of mountains jersey with Rémy Di Grégorio for example (Critérium International, race of ASO, ...). In 2016, Team Novo Nordisk earned the most top five results since its inception with Javier Megias (ESP) taking second overall at the Tour de Korea and Martijn Verschoor (NED) sprinting to fifth on Stage 1 of the Tour of California against some of the best sprinters in the world. Additionally, the team earned its first team classification win when it took top honors at the Tour of Estonia. Megias went on to

111 years of history for Wilier Triestina while Selle Italia will celebrate in 2017 the 120th birthday, two moments to don’t forget and to bring in the 100th edition of the Giro d’Italia that the team will join in may for the 8th in these last 9 years to show the importance of a project that every year works with the young talents of italian and international cycling.

In 2016 the team won in 7 countries and in 3 continents with 5 different riders. Between all the victories there were as well 2 National Championships and a bronze medal at the World Championships of Doha to add at the participation of Liam Bertazzo at the Olympic Games of Rio De Janeiro. As a Professional team a great result was the wildcard for 4 of the 5 Monuments Classics of the World Tour calendar.

“Pippo” has an unbelievable palmares in Italy with 27 wins in career including a Milan – Sanremo, two stages at the Tour de France, one stage at the Giro d’Italia, the general classification of a Tirreno – Adriatico and one edition of the National Championships. “Kuba” has won 25 races all around the world in two seasons, impressive results that convinced the coach of the Under 23 Selection Marino Amadori to give him the leadership at the World Championships of Doha where Mareczko was able to end in the podium achieving the only male medal for Italy.

At Doha there was also Filippo Pozzato, a prize for a season where he was close to come back to his normal form with good reslts like the bronze at the National Championsihps or the 8th place at Milan – Sanremo where he as the best of the italian riders. At the Classicissima Pozzato showed once more to be an icon of glamour in the world of cycling as he had great attention by the belgian tv Sporza that dedicated to him a two days interview where Pippo was followed by the cameras during the training, the massage sessions and just before and after the race. In Belgium, country of cycling, Pozzato is the second most popular and supported cyclist after Tom Boonen and his popularity is huge also during the Giro d’Italia where journalists and fans are always near him because of his open character.

Team UKYO cycling team was established in 2012 by the Japanese Formula One driver Mr. Ukyo KATAYAMA.

The team based in Kanagawa JAPAN and registred in UCI Continental Team 2015.

We participate in UCI Asia tours and some European tours and our ranking is No1 in Asian Tour.

The riders are eight Japanese, six Spanish, and one Australian.

It will be the 1st time to race in Hainan. We will challenge to win with our best riders line up.

Team introduction Monkey Town Continental Team:

For the first time we will participate in Tour of Hainan.

The last few years we participate as Parkhotel Valkenburg in many Asian races and for this season our team changed the name to Monkey Town CT.

The last race we ride was Tour of Qinghai lake, our best rider in GC was 5th place, team 7th place and 3 podium places. Our team is known for a team how will always attack and going for the best result we can.

In the past our team made these results in tour of Taihu Lake (second in GC 2016), Fuzhou (3RD in GC  2016) and Shanghai (winner of GC 2016).

So our team takes Tour of Hainan serious and hope for some good results this year.

We are looking forward to meet you and have a good Tour of Hainan 2017.

Beijing XDS-Innova Cycling Team was established in 2010, the team's predecessor is China 361 ° Intercontinental team. The team consists of 16 riders, mainly composed of domestic and foreign outstanding athletes. Over the past eight years the team has got impressive record, such as the Blue Jersey and the first place of GC ofAsian total result in “Tour of Qinghai, the second place of Asian group total result in“Tour of Hainan”, blue jersey and the third place of youth individual total result , and so on.

In order to improve the team's athletic performance, support the team with the best mental outlook and competitive level to participate in international competitions. With the support of domestic independent brand XDS Bicycle Co. Ltd and professional production of bicycle tires Innova Rubber (Pinghu) Co. Ltd, the team has a new look, and get ready for another success.

Heng Xiang Cycling Team was established in 2010, and now mainly focus on Asian Tour and domestic league. Team has got some good achievements in recent years, and becomes the best Chinese cycling team in the Tour of Hainan, for example, Wang Meiyin and Ma Guangtong have got “King of KOM”, and have wore the Yellow Jersey. With the join of Marc who comes from Holland,  Heng Xiang has become an international cycling team.

KEYI-LOOK established in 2016. This team consists of 16 top cyclists come from China and Iran. The team is a young team with full campaigning, passion and ambition to make achievements. In China, the team got team 6th place in the 11th Tour of Hainan, the championship of China cycling League, and had good performance in the National Championship. In the international race, we got good results in Tour of Filipinas in February and Tour of Iran. At the same time our Iran cyclist achieved the top three results in the recent Asian Championships, our France rider ever get the champion in the league leveled at class 2. In 2017, we have 5 former ASTANA’s riders join, and we committed to get better achievements!

Mitchelton-SCOTT is a Chinese registered UCI Continental Team, supported by GreenEDGE Cycling which also operates UCI WorldTour and Women’s teams ORICA-SCOTT. In 2017, Mitchelton-SCOTT comprises China and Australia’s most talented up and coming riders. As a vision, Mitchelton-SCOTT is a unique team, providing the infrastructure and platform for Chinese cyclists, in particular, to step up to the WorldTour and well as building the profile and exposure of cycling in the region.

Team Introduction

IsoWhey Sports SwissWellness is the number one Continental Team in Australia. The team began in the year 2000 and has been responsible for developing 11 riders to World Tour level including Richie Porte (BMC), Nathan Haas (Dimension Data) and Patrick Bevin Cannondale).

The team has won the Australian National Road Series 7 years in a row and has many national championships and one world championship victory in it's palmares. 

The team has wanted to ride the Tour of Hainan for a long time and is keen to show that they can compete and win against the strong competition here.

2017 Jelly Belly Cycling Team presented by MAXXIS

Our riders eat their share of Jelly Belly jelly beans and give away lots of samples to the fans they meet at races and on their training rides. Their favorite Jelly Belly flavors span the range of Official Flavors from Watermelon to Very Cherry to Blueberry, but most agree their favorite Sport Beans flavors are Green Apple and Berry.

Jelly Belly, the longest-running pro cycling team in North America, will return for its 18th season, having re-signed with its title sponsor for 2017.

Returning riders include powerhouses Jacob Rathe, Taylor Shelden, Angus Morton, Ben Wolfe, climbers Jordan Cheyne and Josh Berry and sprinters Ulises Castillo and Michael Sheehan. Returning stateside this year after several successful international racing seasons is Serghei Tvetcov, former Romanian Road and reigning Time Trial National Champion. Sean Bennett, a promising U-23 all-rounder, will also join Jelly Belly this year.

Astana Pro Team is a professional racing team from Kazakhstan and named after its capital city Astana. 

Lead by the Olympic champion and famous former cyclist Alexandr Vinokurov, Astana Pro Team has 8 grand-tour overall victories and over 260 other victories.

In 2016 Astana Pro Team celebrates its 10-years anniversary in professional cycling.

Sponsored by he Samruk-Kazyna, a coalition of state-owned companies from Kazakhstan, Astana Pro Team is the one of the most successful World Tour teams.

In this season the team has three leaders – famous Italian riders Vincenzo Nibali and Fabio Aru and young and successful Kazakh rider Alexey Lutsenko.

Team LAMPRE-MERIDA is a World Tour team who has been fascinating the cycling fans for more than 20 years thanks to their traditional blu-fuchsia colors that were joined, in 2013, by the Merida green. 

South African team manager Brent Copeland succeeded in making coexist the Italian roots of the team with a more international extension: the cyclists of Team LAMPRE-MERIDA came from 4 different continents and from 12 different nations.

In its history, the team had in its roster four world champions (Camenzind, Astarloa, Ballan and Rui Costa) and it obtained successes in almost all the most important races in the world.

Lampre is an Italian group, based in Usmate Velate (near Milan), that produces and trades pre-coated steel.

The name Lampre appeared for the first time on the jersey of a cycling team in 1990, just before becoming the main sponsor of the team in the next season: from that moment, Lampre has spent 21 seasons in the gotha of the world cycling.

Merida is a Taiwanese bikes manufacturer. In 2013 it joined Lampre in the sponsorship of the team, obtaining immediately huge satisfactions and large exposure, thanks to the high quality of the bikes that are supplied to the team.

The 2016 season is Team Giant-Alpecin’s second consecutive year racing under a German licence, and the same focus on grassroots development of German cycling remains alongside this. The team’s DNA remains similar to that formed at the very beginning of the team’s existence – the Keep Challenging approach. The team’s history goes back to the year 2000. Since then CCC sponsored squad has competed twice in one of the three Grand Tours, Giro d’Italia and multiple times in the UCI World Tour events. This season CCC Sprandi Polkowice has taken part in the most prestigious races in the cycling calendar such as Strade Bianche, Milan-San Remo, Tirreno-Adriatico, Amstel Gold Race, Volta a Catalunya, Tour de Suisse and Tour of Poland. 

The team is sponsored by CCC, a Polish shoe-and-handbag retailer which also owns the brand Sprandi (sports shoes). The headquarter is located in Polkowice, a town which has been supporting the squad since 2007. 

Team Roth is since 2015 Continental team and since 2016 Pro Continental. We have 23 riders coming mostly from Switzerland and Italy and some other countries like Germany, France, Austria, Portugal, Spain and Argentina. The main sponsor of the team is Roth Gruppe, a Swiss company working in constructions like isolation and fire safety. We have a big race calendar, racing most of the time in Europe but also in China, for Tour of Hainan and Tour of Qinghai Lake for example. Our two biggest races were Tour de Romandie and Tour de Suisse, both World Tour races. Next to the professional team, we are also developing a junior team with 8 swiss riders. One of the riders, Marc Hirschi, is a real talent and became World champion in Madison on the track. He also finished 3rd of Gent-Wevelgem U19 and 6th of Paris Roubaix U19 in 2016.

Team Novo Nordisk is a global all-diabetes sports team of cyclists, triathletes and runners, spearheaded by the world’s first all-diabetes professional cycling team. The team’s mission is to inspire, educate and empower everyone affected by diabetes.

In 2015, Team Novo Nordisk achieved its best results to date, including 36 top 10 finishes and three podium appearances. Scott Ambrose (NZL) earned the team’s first victory in its three-year history when he soloed to win Stage 2 of the Tour de Filipinas. Javier Megias (ESP) earned the team’s best result at a 2.HC race when he sprinted to second place on Stage 6 of the USA Pro Challenge. Team Delko Marseille Provence KTM, former Team Marseille 13 KTM, is espacially famous for development of young talents. For 5 years now in the professionnal field, Team Delko Marseille Provence KTM is growing up step by step, sharing same values of courage, improvement, team spirit and performance. And this year, team is now Continental Professional, a new step in the history of the team! In whole Europe, in China too, we will compete to show the best of ourselves. Since this year, we have a new Partner, "Delko", which is reparing cars and sellings things for cars too. In the sportive field, we won several times the king of mountains jersey with Rémy Di Grégorio for example (Critérium International, race of ASO, ...). One of our riders, Delio Fernandez finished 4th in overall of Tour of Austria in July. And for memories, in China, we won Tour of Hainan in 2014, and last year Tour of Yancheng Costal Wetlands.

The cycling team from Brasil started the trajectory in 2010. Funvic has been a continental team for six seasons (2010-2015). But in the summer of 2015, the sponsors and the team manager decided to become professional continental for 2016. This is the first Professional team from Brasil in all the history and this is the only Professional team in all Latin America (from Mexico to Argentina) in 2016.

The team is sponsored by strong companies. The three main sponsors are: FUNVIC: University of Brasil. SOUL BIKES: One of the most important bike companies in all Latin America. CARREFOUR: A big company of supermarkets with economic interest in a lot of countries.

The team won very important races in the past. For example, all the tours in the Brasilian calendar but the Tour of San Luis-Argentina (2.1) too, a races where they won against WorldTour teams. Now, the team is focused in the biggest races with a strong calendar in Europe, with races like Tour of Turkey (2.HC), or Volta a Portugal (2.1).

Drapac Professional Cycling is revolutionary. The first of its kind in Australia, the privately funded enterprise uses cycling as the medium to redefine the way not only athletes, but also how our society, measures success.

Vino 4-Ever SKO Continental Team was founded in Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan in November 2013. It was organized by Alexandr Vinokurov, the Olympic Champion; Sergey Kruchina became the Team Manager. The team rides on the VINO bikes. 

Now twelve Kazakhstan riders represent the team. During the season they take part in numbers of Asian and European races, where athletes have been achieving good results. 

The leaders of the team are:

-Alexandr Shushemoin, a climber and has got a good experience in different international races during his career. 

-Oleg Zemlyakov is young and gifted rider who can participate both in time trial and in mass sprints. He became the Kazakhstan National Champion in road race in 2015.  

-Zhandos Bizhigitov is one more experienced rider who took a silver medal in ITT at the 2015 Asian Championships.  

-Yevgeniy Gidich is young rider, who shows strong result during the 2016 season. Several victories at the stages of the Tour of Qinghai Lake, the Tour of Bulgaria and the Tour of Iran.

During two competition years the Vino 4-Ever SKO riders secured victories and got on the podium of the various competitions. 

This season started from the Tour de Filipinas; Oleg Zemlyakov took overall win of this stage race and Yevgeniy Gidich was second in the General Classification. The team also won the Team Classification. 

Then Stepan Astafyev won stage 2 at the Tour de Taiwan, and Yevgeniy Gidich achieved a victory at stage 6 of the Tour of Iran. Zhandos Bizhigitov finished 2nd  in GC of  the 2016 Tour of Thailand. Alexandr Shushemoin took silver medal of the Kazakhstan National Championships. 

For the moment, riders of the Team have achieved 8 victories in various international races. Now it is one of the strongest teams in Asia.

WISDOM - HENGXIANG cycling team was founded in 2010, which currently committed to the Asian events and the domestic league. In recent years, WISDOM - HENGXIANG cycling team achieved its best results to date including several times in Le Tour de Lang kawi that Tour of Hainan has good performance. Meiyin Wang earned the King of Mountains this year in Tour of LangKawi, and once won the yellow jersey in Tour of Hainan. In 2016, WISDOM - HENGXIANG cycling team turned to be an international team, and this time all the main riders will participate in this event, hope WISDOM - HENGXIANG cycling team can have a good performance in Tour of hainan.

HKSI Pro Cycling Team is composed of well – trained and experienced riders with different talents for climbing, putting on a sprint as well as time trialing. All the riders usually take part in the training in Hong Kong and China and have worked together since 2009 with great team spirit and sharing the same goal. 

Even though most of teammates are young, they are frequent riders in Asia Tour with outstanding performance. Therefore, our team is familiar with geographic characteristic and the climate in different Asian countries. Furthermore, our team supported each other well in each race and has successfully carried out the strategies until the completion of the races. Under the covering provided by the teammates, one of the riders – Mr. CHEUNG King Lok has finished Tour de Thailand 2015 with 3rd Place of General Classification and other riders – Mr. LEUNG Chun Wing finished the Individual Road Race Event in 2nd Runner – up.

In the sportive field, we won 4 races this year: Julien Loubet won Paris-Camembert, a stage of French Cup, team won the Team Time Trial of Circuit des Ardennes, while Evaldas Siskevicius won the overall too of that race. Lampre is an Italian group, based in Usmate Velate (near Milan), that produces and trades pre-coated steel.

The name Lampre appeared for the first time on the jersey of a cycling team in 1990, just before becoming the main sponsor of the team in the next season: from that moment, Lampre has spent 21 seasons in the gotha of the world cycling.

Merida is a Taiwanese bikes manufacturer. In 2013 it joined Lampre in the sponsorship of the team, obtaining immediately huge satisfactions and large exposure, thanks to the high quality of the bikes that are supplied to the team. 

Team LAMPRE-MERIDA is a World Tour team who has been fascinating the cycling fans for more than 20 years thanks to their traditional blu-fuchsia colors that were joined, in 2013, by the Merida green.

The team was founded in 2011 under the name of Leopard Trek 。The Schleck brothers were under contract with the Danish team Saxo Bank，through the end of the 2010 season Several other Team Saxo Bank riders followed the Schleck brothers to the new team.

The team’s history goes back to the year 2000. Since then CCC sponsored squad has competed twice in one of the three Grand Tours, Giro d’Italia and multiple times in the UCI World Tour events. This season CCC Sprandi Polkowice has taken part in the most prestigious races in the cycling calendar such as Milan-San Remo, Amstel Gold Race, Volta a Catalunya, Tour de Suisse, Tour of Poland and mentioned earlier, Giro d’Italia. 

In 2015, the riders have claimed 16 victories in UCI races. Those which stand out are Maciej Paterski’s victory on the first stage of Volta a Catalunya and in the general classification of Tour of Croatia, Davide Rebellin’s triumph on the queen stage of Tour of Turkey and the victorious team time trial in Coppi e Bartali, where “riders in orange” defeated one of the best teams in the world, Team Sky. 

In total 54 podium spots have been claimed. The other most impressive results include Jan Hirt’s third place overall in Tour of Austria, Rebellin’s second place in GC of Sibiu Tour and top 3 places on the stages of Volta a Catalunya (again Paterski), Ruta del Sol (Grega Bole), Coppi e Bartali (Bole, Rebellin), Tour du Limousin (Rebellin), Tour of Norway (Rebellin), Czech Cycling Tour (Stefan Schumacher) and in Volta Limburg Classic (Paterski). 

The team is sponsored by CCC, a Polish shoe-and-handbag retailer which also owns the brand Sprandi (sports shoes). The headquarter is located in Polkowice, a town which has been supporting the squad since 2007.

2015 marks the third season the all-diabetes man’s professional cycling team will race on the International Cycling Union (UCI) Professional Continental Tour, which will take them to numerous countries around the world in Europe, USA and Asia as they continue racing to change diabetes.

As of June 30 2015, Team Novo Nordisk has earned 26 top 10 finishes so far this season, including the team’s first victory in its three-year history when Scott Ambrose (NZL) soloed to the win on Stage 2 of the Tour de Filipinas. Team Novo Nordisk’s successful Tour de Filipinas continued with Ambrose winning the race’s Sprint Jersey. Other standouts include Javier Megias (ESP) finishing 10th overall at the Presidential Tour of Turkey and Martijn Verschoor (NED) sprinting to fourth place on Stage 1 of the Tour of Estonia. Team Novo Nordisk raced to defend Verschoor’s overall placement and the Dutchman went on to finish fifth overall at the Estonian race.  At the Tour de Korea, Team Novo Nordisk notched six total top 10s including one podium finish when Andrea Peron (ITA) sprinted to third place on Stage 5.

In 2014, Team Novo Nordisk achieved great success both on and off the bike. Team Novo Nordisk riders earned 21 top-10 finishes and eight podium appearances, including Kevin De Mesmaeker’s (BEL) third place finish on Stage 4 of the Amgen Tour of California. RTS-SANTIC RACING TEAM Taiwan registered in the organization of the International Cycling UCI Continental Team (continental team), the predecessor of which is a brilliant achievement and historical Giant Asia team, established in 2002. Has three characteristics:

Ukrainian National Cycling Team is one of the most progressive and perspective discipline in World of sports. Since 1991 participated and began as a Ukrainian National Team before than it was in composition of USSS. During these periods we took part in different and important sports event such significant as World Championships, European Championships, World Cups and other. Ukraine has its own history, many famous and legendary riders of the time of independence. Ukrainian some rider it is a world champion and a prizewinner of Giro d’Italia in time trial race and a leader of Tour de France and a winner of many Rounds in different time. Also the prizewinners and many other sportsmen who had obtained such great results on the international arena. 

 Ukrainian riders was winner and prizewinner many times in different events in China in past years. It’s a very great event in China and we are glad to come to China to take part in this events and compete with other teams from around the world at a decent level.

Vino 4-Ever Continental Team was founded in Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan in November 2013. It was organized by Alexandr Vinokurov, the Olympic Champion; his first coach, Sergey Kruchina, became a Team Manager. 

Now ten Kazakhstan riders represent the team. During the season the team takes part in numbers of Asian and European races, where its athletes have been achieving good results. 

The captain of the team is Alexandr Shushemoin, who is a climber and has got a good experience in different international races during his career.  

Oleg Zemlyakov is young and gifted rider who can participate both in time trial and in mass sprints. Zhandos Bizhigitov is one more experienced rider who took a silver medal in ITT at the 2015 Asian Championships.  

Vadim Galeyev is a strong sprinter, he won a road race of the 2014 Asian Championships.   

Although, the 2015 season is just the second competition year of the Vino 4-Ever Continental Team the riders have secured victories and got on the podium of the various competitions.

The Cycling Team of Hong Kong China is composed of well – trained and experienced riders with different talents for climbing, putting on a sprint as well as time trialing. All the riders usually take part in the training in Hong Kong and China and have worked together since 2009 with great team spirit and sharing the same goal.

Even though most of teammates are young, they are frequent riders in Asia Tour with outstanding performance. Therefore, our team is familiar with geographic characteristic and the climate in different Asian countries. Furthermore, our team supported each other well in each race and has successfully carried out the strategies until the completion of the races. Under the covering provided by the teammates, one of the riders – Mr. CHEUNG King Lok has finished Tour de Thailand 2015 with 3rd

Place of General Classification and other riders – Mr. LEUNG Chun Wing finished the Individual Road Race Event in 2nd Runner – up.

QINGHAI TIANYOUDE-BH CYCLING TEAM was known as Qinghai Cycling Team before. It registered to become UCI Cycling Team in December 2008.The establishment of the team has been the pioneer that Chinese local team become UCI’s  professional team.Now,the team has one manager as a legal person,2 leaders,4coaches,18 athletes,5security personnel training competition persons.

 Since its establishment,it has taken part in several domestic and international competitions including Tour of Qinghai and made good grades such as the National Road Championships Circuit,the winner of the sliver medal in the 12th-games of PRC,1st of 8th Tour of Qinghai Lake in first stage and so on

  In order to narrow the gap with high-level teams at home and abroad,the team convey local riders of Qinghai to France and other European countries to assemble for training,and they had gained good grades in the  competition. By adopting“Go out” train of thought, the competitiveness, stamina and competence experience of athletes have all be improved rapidly ,and to make the team step in a virtuous circle pathway.The team not only do a good job in self-building ,but also pay attention to the learning and communication to the foreign high-level teams.It has successively communication and trained with Spanish BH. team and Australia Virgin team .Especially for Team Australia Virgin, it had a special trip to Qinghai Doba sports training base to have a one-week combination of physical training, it has enhanced the pertinence and antagonism of training and to make athletes’ broaden their horizon and realize their deficiency and gap. This has provided worth-learning experience and methods for their improvements of competition results. It has achieved the aim of natural leaning and leaning from others’ points to offset one’s weakness

   In the past two years, with the Tour of Qinghai visibility and influence increasing and the team in the tournament competition results in rapid increase, more and more enthusiastic people began to concern young team, the Central TV and Taiwan, China network television Taiwan, people net, Xinhua net and the major news agencies, competing the growth, progress and development of the team were reported in the full range. Thus, the team has also become a focus of Qinghai people and cycling enthusiasts to gossip about.

Terengganu ProAsia Cycling Team established in 2011 between Terengganu State Government and ProAsia Sports Management after Terengganu cyclist Anuar Manan delivered historical Stage and Green Jersey victories in 2010 Tour de Langkawi. In 2012, TSG was ranked number one team in UCI Asia team ranking with victories in Hainan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia and Indonesia. Since 2011 to 2015 TSG riders have stepped on podium of UCI professional races more than 60 times in last 5 years. Team ranked as top 5 Asian team four out of five years which makes TSG one of most consistent Asian cycling teams and most successful team from SE Asia.

After a significant revamp in 2013, with new riders, new team personnel and a new American sponsor, the Dutch team embraced good working patterns and improved its morale. Proof of this was a return of 38 victories despite the illnesses suffered by some riders such as Dennis van Winden and Jack Bobridge.

The team personnel remains largely unchanged for 2014. Bauke Mollema will be the team leader for the Grand Tours. Previously a winner of the Tour de l’Avenir, Mollema will compete in the Tirreno-Adriatico, Milan-San Remo, Tour of the Basque Country, Ardennes classics and Tour de Suisse in 2014. He will then take on the Tour de France, in which he finished sixth last year. However, Mollema wants to share the responsibility for the general classification with Robert Gesink: "If we can get through the first week with two riders in good positions then we will have two cards to play in the mountains. This plan suits us both."

Gesink, who has not finished in the top ten of a Grand Tour since the 2012 Vuelta a España but who has blossomed in the classics and one-week stage races, remains one of the pillars of the Belkin Pro Cycling Team for his eighth season with the squad.

The team is developing its next generation of Grand Tour contender in the shape of 23-year-old Wilco Kelderman. Seventeenth in the Giro d’Italia, Kelderman made his presence felt in shorter stage races (5th in Tour de Romandie, 6th in Tour Down Under and 7th in Eneco Tour).

The team will also launch a major assault on the classics, built around Belgium’s Sep Vanmarcke, the last rider able to hang on to Fabian Cancellara’s wheel in the 2013 Paris-Roubaix. Lars Boom and Maarten Tjallingii also have potential when it comes to the cobbles. Norway's Lars Petter Nordhaug, 12th in the UCI Road World Championships, French recruit Jonathan Hivert and Germany's Paul Martens could also be influential in the Ardennes classics.

With 12 wins in 2013, former track sprinter Theo Bos seems certain to add more victories to the Dutch team's tally in 2014.

Team Novo Nordisk is a global all-diabetes sports team of cyclists, triathletes and

runners, spearheaded by the world’s first all-diabetes professional cycling team. The

team’s mission is to inspire, educate and empower people affected by diabetes.

In December 2012, Novo Nordisk and Phil Southerland, co-founder and CEO of Team

Novo Nordisk, partnered to create Team Novo Nordisk, based on a shared goal to

educate and inspire people around the world affected by diabetes.

The all-diabetes men’s professional cycling team races on the International Cycling

Union (UCI) Professional Continental Tour, competing in major professional races

around the world.

In their first season as an all diabetes team in 2013, Team Novo Nordisk achieved

great success both on and off the bike. They took more than 20 top 10 finishes and

three podium finishes, met thousands of people inspired by their message and

empowered by their actions, and currently have a Facebook following nearly 800k.

As of July, Team Novo Nordisk has earned 15 top ten finishes in the 2014 season.

These include two appearances on the podium, with Kevin De Mesmaeker (BEL)

taking third place on Stage 4 of the Amgen Tour of California and Martijn Verschoor

(NED) sprinting to second place on Stage 1 of the Grand Prix Cycliste de Saguenay.

Other notable results of the season include Charles Planet (FRA) earning the Amgen

Breakaway from Cancer Most Courageous Rider jersey during the Amgen Tour of

California and David Lozano (ESP) winning the King of the Mountains jersey at Cholet

Pays De Loire.

The remainder of Team Novo Nordisk’s 2014 season will take them to cities in the

USA, Europe and Asia, as they continue racing to change diabetes.

CCC Polsat Polkowice has Professional Continental status and is the most successful Polish team. The squad sponsored by CCC company has been on a cycling map since the year 2000. In the season 2014 it has taken part in the most prestigious international races, such as Volta a Catalunya, Amstel Gold Race, Giro del Trentino, Tour of Norway, Tour de Suisse and the biggest cycling event in Poland, Tour de Pologne.

The biggest star of the team is experienced Italian Davide Rebellin, who has claimed over 10 podium spots this year. The other big names are Maciej Paterski – winner of Tour of Norway 2014 and King of the Mountains in Tour de Pologne 2014, Marek Rutkiewicz – 9-time Top10 finisher in the general classification of Tour de Pologne, Bartlomiej Matysiak – Polish Champion 2014 and Tomasz Marczynski – placed 13th overall in the Vuelta a Espana 2013. The fastest man on the team is the pure sprinter Grzegorz Stepniak. The rider who feels the most comfortable in the race against the clock, is the time trialist, Mateusz Taciak.

Jaroslaw Marycz and Jacek Morajko both have international experience and raced for UCI WorldTour teams. The former was part of Saxo Bank team, and the later of Vacansoleil – DCM. Aside from Rebellin, there are three other foreign riders representing “orange colors” - great climber from Belarus, Branislau Samoilau, all-rounder from Bulgaria, Nikolay Mihaylov and very talented Czech, Josef Cerny.  In total there are 19 riders on the roster.

The team is run by Piotr Wadecki, a former cyclist (2nd in Tour de Suisse and Tour de Luxemburg, won a stage in Paris-Nice, and was 7th in the Olympic Games in Sydney).

CCC Polsat Polkowice has been to Tour of Hainan three times. So far the best result comes from last year’s edition, when Adrian Honkisz was ranked 7th in the final GC and Taciak won the mountain classification.

Team VINO 4EVER was established in November 2013. Only one month later, the team ranked as a Continental team to the UCI.

Team VINO 4EVER, which is named after the country's star rider and the Olympic champion Alexandre Vinokourov, and led by Vinokourov's former coach, Sergey Kruchina, has brought in a number of riders who raced on the national team. Their goal is to promote professional cycling in Kazakhstan.

Team VINO4EVER is one of the only two Continental teams in Kazakhstan. Riders in this team have taken part in many international races on behalf of the national team including Shushemoin Alexander, who has won the first place in 2014 Russian Championship on mountain race and the 2nd place in 2014 National Cycling Championship of Republic of Kazakhstan on the road; Zemlyakov Oleg, who has won the 2nd place in 2014 Asia Cycling Championship on the road; Zakharov Artem, who has won the 1st place in 2014 National Cycling Championship of Republic of Kazakhstan on the racetrack. They will take part in 2014 Tour of Hainan.

This is their first time that to take part in Tour of Hainan, also in China. Let’s see what kind of performance this young and vigorous team will bring to us.

Team DUKLA PRAHA(ADP) is based in the Czech republic’s capital city of Prague, one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the world. Team is now top-ranked in the Czech republic and registered as the UCI Continental team since 2003. Composed of 14 elite / U23 men and  2 women riders, team is focused to road and track international competitions on all continents including track olympic program.Thanks to combination of road and track competitions, team is racing almost 12 months a year.

During last decade riders won three track world champion titles and many other track world championships medals as the strong base of the national track cycling team. In previous years team stepped into Asian roads as well. The most experienced rider and road national ex-champion Milan Kadlec won stages of the Tour of TaiHu Lake, UCI 2.1 in 2012. In 2013 Alois Kankovsky, former track world champion in omnium, confirmed his shape with the win of the Tour of China, UCI 2.1. and with 11 pro wins in the 2013 season. Both riders are now placed in Top

15 of the UCI Asia Tour individual ranking and will be seen on the start of the Tour of Hainan as well. Team’s achievements for our first Hainan Tour are to try to win a stage and or to be place at the top ten in general classification.

The story of Team La Pomme Marseille has been written since 1974, when was created the Vélo Club La Pomme Marseille. Since then, every day, the club lives its passion intensely troughs its racing cyclists, its members and its partners.

Today the Team La Pomme Marseille has become an international reference as for the discovery and the training of new talent, in the pure respect of the sports law and ethic. Centered essentially on a strong training policy, from basic to professional level, the team's objective is to encourage and help young people progress in optimal conditions.

In this way, the 2014 group's ambition is to do as well as in 2013, where they are very proud of their team with 17 victories in UCI Europe and Asian Continental circuits. In the classification 2013 UCI Europe Tour Team, the Team ended in the 17th rank, and 6th rank in the Asia Tour UCI.

Team spirit, courage, solidarity and hard work are the four essential values the club focuses on. Team Continental La Pomme Marseille is the ultimate expression of these values. Cyclists from Team La Pomme Marseille are really motivated to do their best on the roads of Tour of Hainan.

Team Continental Burgos BH was born in 2006 after more than 25 years in the Spanish amateur category.

It currently focuses his competition schedule in UCI Europe Tour with brilliant performances at Challenger Internacional a Mallorca, Vuelta Castilla y León and Vuelta Murcia.

This year has 2 wins in charge of David Belda at the Vuelta Castilla y León, 2ª stage and overall classification,  in addition to a large number of victories in secondary classifications. What is Baku Cycling Project?

The Baku Cycling Project is a UCI registered Continental Team. The team’s origins are from Azerbaijan and 2013 was the team’s first year in existence.

Baku Cycling Project is an initiative of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation and marks just one of several steps to promote cycling as a leisure sport in Azerbaijan, as well as becoming a springboard for young Azeri cyclists to be able to perform and compete on the World cycling stage.

Why a Project?

Because this Azerbaijan UCI team is part of a long term sporting strategy. It is a shared strategy, amongst the organization that run the team and the Federation that back the team.

The shared common goal is to qualify Azerbaijan road cyclists for the Rio de Janero Olympic Games 2016, a qualification process which begins in 2015.

The mutual aligned interest is the ongoing development of Azerbaijan’s current Elite/Espoir cyclists by allowing them to work and live like other cycling Nations, by giving them the same platform.

Under the leadership and support of Department of culture, radio, television, publication and sports of Hainan Province, CHINA HAINAN HNB - YINDONGLI CYCLING TEAM (YDL) is managed by Haikou Yindongli Ltd and officially founded at the end of 2012 after registering in UCI. Presently, there are more than 10 excellent professionals from provincial teams of Yunan, Liaoning, Heilongjiang and Hainan and 2 back-up members. In 2014 season, the team reviewed its experience and adjusted itself to fit in different stages (plateau, hills, sprint, individual time trial) and technical requirements, so that the overall strength has been improved.

YDL is the only professional team of South Chinawhich has registered in UCI. Since its establishment in 2013, it has taken part in several competitions such as Tour of China, Tour of Qinghai Lake, Tour of Hainan, Tour of Fuzhou, and Tour of Dianchi. The members achieved good results and gained great experience. In 2014 season, they plan to participate in not less than 10 domestic and international competitions. In the 2014 Tour of Hainan, YDL will strive to constantly advance itself, make more friends, and achieve the best grade in the home game.

Heng Xiang Cycling Team was started as an UCI Continental Team in 2010. All the members are Chinese, mainly youth, including some national team members. This team has great potential in China, Asia, even in the world. It has played an active part in Asian races and emerging by breaking the course record and Chinese players’ record. In Tour de Langkawi 2013, Wang Meiyin, major player of the team, who claimed first place in the ranking of national races in 2012 and 2013, won the first place of the third stage, yellow jersey of two stages and finally won the Blue Jersey and KOM Title. The team consists of 10 players, for example, Ma Guangtong, champion of National Games 2013; Zhao Jingbiao, champion of National Championships 2014; Liu Jiangpeng, champion of two stages of National Championships 2014. Their goal is to make great effort for Chinese to take part in world races and obtain good results, win a place in international races for Chinese professional teams and present a good image of Chinese on international arena.

Ukraine National Cycling Team is one of the most progressive and perspective discipline in World of sports. Since 1991 participated and began as a Ukrainian National Team before than it was in composition of USSR. During these periods we took part in different and important sports event such significant as World Championships, European Championships, World Cups and other. Ukraine has in its own history many famous and legendary riders of the time of independence. Ukrainian rider Sergiy Gonchar is a world champion and a prizewinner of Giro d’Italia in time trial race and a leader of Tour de France and a winner of many Rounds in different time. ARBÖ GEBRÜDER WEISS - OBERNDORFER (KTM) AUT was founded in the year 1964 by young cyclists. In the beginning, since there weren’t enough professional cyclists in the region, some of the team members had to stay for a long time as 19 years. The team was very successful in Austria and was therefore considered to participate in international cycling races around the world in 2000. At present, the team has outstanding riders from different nations such as Austria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Ireland and China and so forth. The goal of the team is to offer the cyclists the opportunity to compete in major international tours, and thus to present themselves to the competition with strong cycling teams so as to improve themselves. 

This year the team has achieved great success in Tour de Taiwan, Tour of Ireland and Tour of Austria, and it will certainly perform the best in 2013 Tour of Hainan.

Fleet Introduction：

RTS-SANTIC RACING TEAM was formerly called Asian Giant Team with remarkable achievements. Established in 2002, the team is the oldest strength of Asian Tour which has a history of more than 10 years. It is also the only team registered under UCI with self-developed frame, wheels and jersey. The aim of the foundation of the team is to test the RTS frame, wheels and SANTIC high-end jersey and to assist engineers and designers to develop better ones.

RTS-SANTIC RACING TEAM just attended Tour of Qinghai Lake and won 3rd of group rank. The team's star cyclist is Muradjan Halmuratov, champion of time trial in 2013 Asian Road Cycling Tournament, champion of Uzbek Road Time Trial and yellow jersey of 2011 Tour of China.

Synergy Baku Cycling Project is an Azerbaijani UCI Continental cycling team managed by former SKY Professional Team member Jeremy Hunt. Champion of Tour de Taiwan 2010, David McCann, who is experienced on UCI Asian Tour, is the coach of BCP. The team is composed of professionals such as Malaysian excellent sprinter Anuar Manan, Danish climber John Ebsen, and famous Zelanian sprinter Rico Rogers. Since its foundation, BCP has actively participated in various Asian tours and it currently shines out talents in 2013 Tour de Taiwan with Russian cyclist Kirill Pozdnyakov winning 1st Stage and keeping Yellow Jersey for first three stages. Joining Tour of Hainan for the first time is also the long-awaited expectation of General Manager David McQuaid. Let’s wait for their excellent performance!

Drapac Professional Cycling is a revolutionary in Australia. The privately funded enterprise uses cycling as the medium to redefine the way not only athletes, but also how society measures success. Developed in 2004, the team aims to counteract the mono dimensional culture that defines Australian sport, a culture where athletes have a sole focus on medals or results. Drapac Professional Cycling instead look to create multi dimensional people, not just athletes, by placing equal emphasis on athletic, career, personal and social development.

In a word, Drapac has developed a ground breaking model to turn Champion Athletes into Champion People.

The team regularly compete in Asia and has won the Tour de Taiwan in 2012 and 2013 whilst it is also ranked 1st in the UCI Asia Tour for March. In April and May, the team will be aiming for a strong result in Hainan.

Bernard Sulzberger

The 2013 Tour de Taiwan champion and former National Criterium Champion of Australia is a strong all-round rider who will take his opportunities in the breakaways and is also powerful in the sprint finishes.

William Walker

William was the Australian National Road Champion at the age of 20 and spent 3 years as a professional at Rabobank.  After suffering from health issue, William has made a recover and will be looking to fight for the overall win in Hainan.

Floris Goesinnen

Of Dutch Nationality, Floris spent most of his career as a professional with Skill-Shimano before joining Drapac.  He is a breakaway specialist and after finishing 2nd at the 2012 Tour of Taihu Lake he will be a strong competitor.

Team Novo Nordisk is comprised of 17 professional riders from ten different countries, all living successfully with type 1 diabetes. It began as a grassroots initiative to motivate people to take control of their diabetes by using cycling as a platform. The team grew to become a world-class athletic program for athletes with diabetes to compete at the Tour de France. Today, it is a global sports organization changing the lives of people with diabetes around the world through racing, groundbreaking research, international outreach and philanthropic initiatives in developing countries.

Team Novo Nordisk, comprised entirely of cyclists, triathletes, and runners with type 1 diabetes competing in many high profiles events worldwide, from the Race across America to the major tours of professional cycling. The Professional Men’s Cycling Team is getting closer to their mission of “Change Diabetes” around the world and inspiring people.

During its first season Team Novo Nordisk competed with the best professional riders of the world in races at four continents. Leaded by our young sprinters Andrea Peron and Martijn Verschoor from Italy and Netherlands and our mountain specialists Javier Megias, Team Novo Nordisk has collected top results around the world.

The Rietumu–Delfin team was established in 2002 and has gradually developed by selecting and recruiting the most talented Latvian cyclists. The team consists of 11 cyclists and is the basic selection for the Latvian national men’s U-23 team in road cycling. The team includes the 2009 European marathon champion, Allan Oras from Estonia, and several-time Latvian champion in cyclocross and marathon, Ivanda Eiduka. In turn, such former cyclists of Rietumu – Delfin as Aleksejs Saramotins and Toms Skujiņš have become world-class professionals. 

This is the first time for Rietumu–Delfin to participate in Tour of Hainan and we expect for their good results!

Champion System Pro Cycling Team was founded in 2012 by top professional customized sports apparel manufacturer Champion System Apparel Company. It is the only continental professional team in the world based in Asia, and is incredibly competitive in international events. The team's goal is to enable Asia's best cyclists to compete in the highest-level cycling competitions. Since the foundation of CSS, it has committed to paving the way for Asia's top cyclists to join the highest-level competitions.

The team successfully avoids relegation this year, and team members are from three continents, totally 14 countries and regions.  

There are five champions from different countries, including Xu Gang, five-time national road champion of China; Chanjae Jang, Former South Korea national road champion; Ryan Roth, Former Canada national road champion; Zach Bell, present champion of Canada; Matt Brammeier, Four-time Irish national road champion; Ryota Nishizono, former champion of Japan national time trial.

The Atlas Personal-JAKROO Continental Team, sponsored by Atlas Personal and Jakroo Custom Apparel, is a UCI continental team set up in Switzerland. Over 6 years of development, the team has become the strongest continental team in Switzerland.

In the 2012 Season, Atlas Personal-JAKROO Continental Team participated in 55 games for 107 days, including 9 international level competitions organized in China, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Holland, Luxemburg and Belgium. The team won 7 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 2 bronze medals and was ranked 38th in 2012 UCI Europe Tour Ranking.

Founded in 1974, Team La Pomme Marseille is a great French institution in cycling for years. Best young talents have developed their potential in Team La Pomme Marseille before entering in Top level carrier. Thanks to the supports of great partners like CKT bicycle brand and the City of Marseille , Team La Pomme Marseille moved up to professional field in 2011. It won a stage champion in 2011 Tour of Hainan with leading position in 8 stages. The team was ranked NO.45 in 2012 UCI Europe Tour with total points of 248.

CCC Polsat Polkowice is a team that has its roots in the year 2000 when a shoe company CCC together with the companies: Mat and Ceresit decided to sponsor Polish road cycling. It was then managed by Andrzej Sypytkowski, who was the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games silver medal winner. Since 2009, Piotr Wadecki took the place and became the team manager. The team has changed its name for times due to the alternation of sponsors. In the season 2000-2001, the team achieved great success with twice being Champion of Poland and the victory in Tour de Pologne. The 2002 season was so far one of the best for the team, when the CCC Polast team succeeded 30 times and got 6th place in the general team ranking. In 2003, as the first continental professional team in Poland, the CCC Polsat team took part in prestigious Tour of Italy. The debut of the Polish team in the Grand Tour was a great success with Dariusz Baranowski winning the 12th place in the general race classification. Great results were also achieved continuously by the team during the 2008-2009 Tour of Taiwan. There is no doubt that the 2013 Tour of Hainan will witness their success

Ukrainian National Cycling Team, one of the most progressive and insightful cycling teams in the World, derived itself from one of USSS in 1991. During the period it took part in many different and significant  sports event such as World Championships, European Championships, World Cups and so forth. Ukraine National Cycling Team has its own history with many famous and legendary riders. Ukrainian rider Sergii Gonchar is a world champion and a prizewinner of time trial in Tour of Italy race and a leader of Tour de France. Meanwhile, Popovych Iaroslav has been a world champion and a prizewinner in many international events. This year the team won 3rd place in European Tour, which means they are perfectly prepared in 2013 Tour of Hainan.

Heng Xiang Cycling Team was started as an UCI continental professional team in 2010. All of the key players in the team are Chinese, mainly youth, including some national team members. Heng Xiang Cycling Team has a vast space for development in China, Asia, even in the world. The team has begun to participate actively in Asian races. In this year's Tour de Langkawi, Wang Meiyin won the champion of Stage 3 and GC Jersey of two stages, and was finally awarded with Blue Jersey and KOM Title. 

The team’s current leaders are Wang Meiyin, Shan Shuang-Champion of 2013 China National Tournament, Liu Yilin-Champion of 2009 China National Tournament, Li Fuyu -Champion of National. The team aims at supporting Chinese cyclists joining grand international races and achieve good results, such as Tour de France and the Olympics, which will show Chinese great image to the world.

Team Quantec-Indeland is the oldest German professional cycling team. Since 2002 the team has participated in UCI competitions around the world and has achieved national, world and Olympic titles. As a continental team, Quantec-Indeland provides a great opportunity to young and talented riders to compete in international races, supported by professional organization. The dream of becoming a professional World Tour cyclist has become reality to many riders during the last 10 year.

In 2010 the team participated in Tour of Hainan the first time and achieved impressive results with a 6th and 9th place in the Overall General Classification. After that really good result the team came back to Hainan in 2011 with high expectations. Another 3rd and 6th place in General Classification proved the strength of the young and motivated team. In 2012 the team focused on the sprint finals and achieved top 5 results on several stages.

In 2013 the team has high expectations to win a sprinters stage and to show strength during the race, even if the level of cycling is high as every year, with Pro Teams participating.

Robert Retschke ：

He is the captain, 32 years old, most experienced rider, who has been professional for long time and participated in fantastic races like Paris-Roubaix, Tour of Germany and so on. He is also a 3-times German hill climbing champion!

Michael Kurth：

He is the team sprinter and most successful rider of the team. He is 26 years old, a fast sprinter who will fight for success in the flat stages. He achieved 4 Top Ten results in TOH 2012. In Europe he belongs to one of the fastest sprinters. 

Belkin Pro Cycling Team is a newly established team derived from Rabobank. It is sponsored by famous technology company Belkin. This total newcomer is determined to create an upbeat and transparent future in cycling and will play an important role in taking cycling to where it belongs: the hearts and minds of cycling fans around the world. Belkin Pro Cycling Team has celebrated 23 victories this season – inspiring a global audience. The team will also foster and build great cycling talent; inspiring a new generation of riders and fans.

This is the first time for Belkin Pro Cycling Team to compete in Tour of Hainan. We are looking forward to their brilliant performance!

Burgos BH Continental Team was established in 2006 after more than 25 years in the Spanish amateur category. Its two main sponsors are Burgos and BH, Burgos is the Spanish Gastronomic Capital of the year 2013 and BH is a bike company with over 100 years of history.

The team currently focuses its competition schedule in UCI Europe Tour with brilliant performances at Challenger International in Mallorca, Vuelta Andalucia, Vuelta Castilla Y León, Tour de la Bretagne Cycliste and Vuelta Burgos. 

This year, the team had 2 victories with high standings of Lluis Mas at the GP Liberty Seguros and Jesus del Pino at stage 2 of Tour des Pays de Savoie, in addition to a large number of victories in secondary classifications. Meanwhile, one of its cyclists, Juan Carlos Riutort, participated with the Spanish National Team in the Tour of Azerbaijan and Lluis Mas participated in the Mediterranean Games in Turkey representing Spain and acheiving silver medal in the individual time trial. 

2013 has been the first year in which the Burgos BH Team has participated in a competition in Asia, which means they are joining Tour of Hainan for the first time. The team is characterized by its competitive spirit and professionalism in all races in which it participates. 

Hongkong China Team consists entirely of the most excellent cyclists from Hong Kong. The experienced members have achieved great success home and abroad, such as Cheung Kingwai, winning first place in the 26km Madlison of the Asia Cup; Chan Chunhing, winning 3rd place both of cyclocross and individual trial in the 2008 Asian Mountain Bike Championships and the 2007 Thailand Asian Cycling Tournament respectively, and champion of cyclocross Stage 1 in 2012 China National Mountain Bike Championships; and Yang Yinghan, winning 9th place in individual trial in Nara Asian Road Racing Championships. The team is believed to perform their best in this Tour of Hainan.

As the first Chinese continental cycling team that registered under UCI, Max Success Sport Team has become a pioneer of Chinese native cycling team and has played an important part in the development of Chinese native cycling. With Shen Jinkang as the chief coach and Wu Weipei the executive coach, the team consists of the best young riders in China. Among them is Xu Gang, the champion of Tour of South China Sea, and Zhang Hui, the champion of the 11th Chinese National Games. As the rising force in Chinese Cycling, the team had participated in the 2009 Tour of Qinghai Lake for the first time in the so-called "the roof of the world" and also the Tour of Langkawi held in Malaysia. 

    China Hainan Yindongli Cycling Team is managed by both Hainan Provincial Administration of Culture, Radio & Television and Hainan Yindongli Sports Culture Communication Company. Its members are both from Yunnan Hongtashan Cycling Team and Liaoning Provincial Cycling Team, among which Hongtashan Team broke national records three times and was beyond Asian records in 2012. Hongtashan was ranked NO.6 in Mexican World Cup and NO.10 in World Championship in 2013, and its cyclist Yang Jing won the second place, Best of Great China, and Best of Asia in 2010 Tour of Taihu Lake. Meanwhile, Cyclist Shi Tao is incredibly excellent in sprinting and was all-round winner in 2012 China National Road Cycling Championships. The mission of building this team is to provide more chances for members to participate in more races. 2013 is the first year for the team to join Tour of Hainan. With the powerful strength of this team, Hainan Yidongli is believed to perform their best and accomplish splendid results.

Qinghai Tianyoude Cycling Team is one of the Continental Teams registered in UCI of China, and its title sponsor is Qinghai Huzhu Highland Barley Wine Factory. The team is basically a native of Qinghai, including the excellent road racer Dong Xiaoyong, Wu Shengjun and so on. They have trained and raced in Europe, which enables them get a significant increase in technical level to stand out in many Asian competitions. Though this team is very young, its establishment is the first time to make a Chinese local team become a UCI continental team. It is the pride of Qinghai people. As an outlying province, it sets up a professional cycling team of its kind in China by the ‘east wind’ of Tour of Qinghai Lake, which has far-reaching significance for promoting the development of cycling in China and promoting Qinghai’s social, economic and cultural sports development. Today, the local racers dressed in professional uniforms have every confidence in excellent results in 2013 Tour of Hainan!

Crelan Euphony is a professional Cycling team owned by the Bucs Bear Promotion ASBL. BBP and its manager, Gerard Bulens, have been involved in professional cycling since 1989. The team did not have to wait too long for its first great result. Indeed, in their first year, the team won the Cyclocross World Championship. In 1993, the “On-road” team was created and continued, unstoppably, to reach the top level of cyclocross. The structure, become international and entered a new dimension in 1995 with 42 victories; half on the road, half in cyclocross. Ever since then, the team has managed to keep at the top level by participating in major events such as Belgian classics (Tour of Flanders, Liège-Bastogne-Liège) and other main events (Amstel Gold Race, Tour of Italy,…). Good results have been steadily achieved.
